  • The Story of Martin

I’ve had the pleasure of working for Logo Brands for more than 10 years.  In terms of a career, I’ve found my home.  We often say that Logo is one big family.  A group of people who care deeply for each other.  We work together, we play together, and many times we pray together.  Our small slice of corporate America is a special place built on a foundation that goes much deeper than any one person here.  We are often asked “What makes you guys so different?”  Or even more specifically, “We don’t know how you do what you do!”  It would be easy to take all the credit.  It would be easy to dis ...

  • Golden

I had requested the email but once I started reading it, I was sad, frustrated and absolutely mad. The rep had sent me a 30,000-foot recap of the last six months from one of our partner’s perspectives. It was ugly. The whole thing was a complete opposite description of what I desire about our company. I read about being late, product being defective, wrong logos on certain items and what seemed to be a lack of attention/concern for the customer. Immediately I was sad, almost overwhelmed, with grieve. My company is costing another company money from lost sales, time in all the processing ...

As I sit here in our Asia office, it still seems so surreal that in just 15 years we have come so far from the garage in Germantown, TN to Ningbo, China.  There are many days that I miss the beginnings of working out of the garage and wondering if we will ever do enough business to justify going to a warehouse each day (amazingly that was only 1 year later).  Now I am sitting in our office in Ningbo working with our team to improve our QC processes and become better QC trainers to our factories.  Helping them improve brings back many good memories for me of coming over to Asia ear ...

  • Welcome to the Real World

Just a few weeks ago, I started my job as executive assistant at Logo Chairs in Franklin. As you all know, Logo is leading manufacturer of everything the ultimate fan needs to show their team spirit: tents, cooler, blankets, bags, chairs and more. Family, get ready for a very Tennessee Logo Christmas! A new position to me and to the company, I have done anything from helping set up trade shows to planning events to everything in between. Every day is a chance to learn and different. I love getting to see every aspect and part of the company and work right beneath the executives. Everyone at ...

  • Getting a Seat at the Table

I tried to lower my head. Pull my hat down over my face. Quickly wiping away this substance coming from my face. Hoping no one around me would see. See the tears falling off my chin onto my shirt. After all, I wasn’t wearing a Patriots or Seahawks uniform so the excuse of having passion for my team couldn’t even be used. Yeah, John Legend just sang “America the Beautiful” and Elsa (Idina Menzel) the national anthem, but even the love for my country wasn’t the reason for these tears. I just couldn’t believe it… I pinched myself. I even had the couple behind us (Jason and I) take a picture, a ...
